    Hi,

     

    You can drag & drop a TBP file to project library.

    Hello Marko,

     

    I uploaded a tbp-file to a TrimbleConnect Project.

    But the viewer doesn't support this filetype.

     

     

    The tbp-file can be opened in TC by dragging and dropping it directly into the project library, but only as a new project.

    We need to be able to upload/add a tbp-model into an existing project.

     

    Is this something that can be develloped?

    Hi Yves,

     

    Sorry, this is not possible. You will need to do it other way around, first create the new project by importing TBP file. Then add all needed other models to it.

     

    Your request sounds like good idea and it's doable yes. I will forward this information to our product management to evaluate if this is something to be implemented in the future.

    I have this question also but don't appear to be able to open .tbp files even when a new project is created and file drag and dropped into project:

     

    Is creating the project first and then adding data the incorrect way to do this?

    Hi Paul,

     

    You will need to first drag and drop the TBP file to Trimble Connect Desktop, onto the projects library.

    It will be then imported and project is created for that TBP file.

    It would be cool to be able to export a Trimble Connect Desktop project in tbp format. As before with Tekla BIMsight.

    HI,

     

    TBP FILE CAN OPEN IN TRIMBLE CONNECT DESKTOP BUT AFTER COMMENTING & ADDING TO DO LISTS FOR MODIFICATION CAN WE EXPORT THOSE COMMENTS, FILES IN TO TBP FILE EXTENSION OR BCFZIP ??

    how do you change the file format? I still can't open the TBA file in Trimbel Connect?

    Hi,

     

    Trimble Connect is not able to open TBA files. If you misspelled TBP, then you can use Trimble Connect for Windows and just drag and drop the TBP file to the projects library. All models, with placement and documents are imported to Connect. But sorry, no notes or views.

     

    If you really need to open TBA file, then you should find a way to convert that to some supported format. Please check the supported formats here:
