I've just been given a GeoXT 2005 series receiver that was headed for the scrap heap as it was going to be "$12K to replace/recover". With dealer help, I have upgraded the receiver firmware and Terrasync so that it is functioning and talking to an older version of PF Office for 0$. All is well.
BUT, points collected over known references seem to be displaced about 1.5 m to the WNW (SBAS RT correction).
AND, my old ProXL, now upgraded to a ProXR, maps these same points almost exactly correctly using RTCM real time correction.
I don't believe that it is a projection/datum problem or a hidden offset setting.
Any thoughts on this problem? Thanks very much . . . . .
