Some problems with TC

    Hi,

    we have some problems with Trimble Connect:

     

    1. Views which are created in TC Desktop don't look the same in TC Web (picture 001.png).

    2. TC Web works very slow when the same models in TC Desktop works ok.

    3. TC Desktop sometimes stops working and we must close TC Desktop and open one more time.

    4. Email notifications which are set for the same hour, sometimes occurs at the same day when ToDos are added and sometimes one day later.

     

    Does anyone have the same problems?

    Hi Joanna,

     

    Thank you for your feedback.

     

    I try to give you some answers:

    1. Do you use orthographic projection? Please try with perspective projection that should have more stable camera position between platforms.

    2. This is know issue that TC Web cannot load as big models as TC Desktop. We are working on this issue.

    3. Could you save the event logs when such case happens that TC Desktop stops? Open Event viewer, browse to "Applications and Services Logs / Trimble". Then right click on the Trimble and save all events to a file. Then please send that file to marko.myllymaa -at- trimble.com. (Fix the email address first.)

    4. Email notifications are sent in certain interval, if sending event was just passed, then notification are pushed to next sending event. Making this more frequent will cause much traffic to our server. We will investigate this, if this could be improved.
