Feature Request: Drag and drop files into the models window

    Previously in Tekla it was easy to add new model files by simply dragging and dropping them directly from a file explorer. Could you please re-implement this feature into Trimble Connect?

     

    It would make updating files much quicker and more efficient!

    Hi Nicklas,

    Its currently possible to drag and drop files from local system to Trimble Connect Web and Desktop applications (in the  folder structure). Can you please let us know if this addresses your need or are you expecting something else.

    Hi Nickals,

     

    As Darshan said, in Trimble Connect Desktop drag and drop is possible on the project data page, but not in 3D view. (I.e. not in Models tab.)

    If you drop model to data page, in explorer, then switch back to 3D using the 3D view image under Views. In 3D use the "Model selection" in Models tab to bring the newly added (or any other) model to the models tab.
