Measure coordinates of points in Trimble Connect desktop

    Hi all,

    I would like to ask you if it is possible to measure coordinates of points in Trimble Connect desktop.
    I enclose pictures with some examples how it could be solved into attachement. This solution offers possibility to set a new center in the current point.

    Hi Pavel,

     

    Do you mean possibility to display coordinates of a selected point?

     

    I'm sorry but that's not possible in Trimble Connect Desktop.

    Good idea though and I will forward that to our product managers.

    Hi @Marko Myllymaa,

     

    This would be a very useful feature that shouldn't be so hard to implement. The levels of the objects is already shown and it's also useful, now is just creating the option to check the coordinates of a point. Do you foresee a date for this feature to be added? When I need to check specific coordinates I always have to use other software like BIM Vision to check these coordinates which is counterproductive.

    Hello

    Any news about that? Should realLy being implemented. How should we check the truth of the model location without any height and coordinate informations?

     

    Without that function, useless for surveyer.

    Hi,

    I don't know how long it has been there for but now there is a measurement option that allows you to pick a single point to display it's coordinates. The picture below is taken from the browser version of trimble connect.

    Hi all,

    now, we have possibility to measure coordinates of points in Trimble Connect web. desktop. It is super, but we need same possibility in Trimble Connect windows (former desktop) too.
