IFC representation

    Hi I got problem in IFC file of sprinkler heads exported from DDS-CAD, in most of the programs its represented correctly (in pictures below) but Trimble connect Desktop client adds to strange wire cube to each sprinkler head as you can see. I think I got the latest IFC plugin 5.29 installed. Where the problem? I can send you the critical IFC file if it helps. On site Trimble connect online is everything right.

     

    I need to sort it out quickly, thanks for your help!

    Hi Petr,

     

    Could you send the model to marko.myllymaa at trimble.com?

     

    Problem could be that IFC plugin 5.29 considers those objects to be falsely created. It could be that objects do not have volume as the object surface is not complete etc. I will investigate the model after I get it.

    We are updating the ifc plugin on the next Trimble connect Desktop release, we could take a look on this issue.
