Hi,

Does anyone know how to set .ifc property sets that are exported with the .ifc model using the one click export tool within Tekla Structures 2017i?

Currently have to export .ifc from within Tekla and upload manually to have the property sets that are needed for erection etc, hoping there is a file I can add a few lines to? Ideas appreciated, Thanks.

Looks as though 2018 has the ability to specify property sets. Will wait for release and do some testing.

Yes but using the Trimble Connect export tool within Tekla does not allow customization of property sets and seems to have its own default. Was trying to get around manually exporting and uploading via the method in the support link you posted.

V2018 of TS looks as though it has a more customization within the export tool direct to Trimble Connect which allows for custom .ifc property sets.

In 2019i it does appear as though you can select Property Sets to use but unfortunately nothing appears in the drop down:

Any help would be appreciated

It is necessary to "save as" your IFC export configuration (in the project Tekla\folder Attributes) to be use it from the Trimble Connect export tools.
