Is there any other way to move files to a different folder then Drag & Drop? Is it possible to select files and choose a folder where they should be moved?

Thank you for posting question on our community page. Users can move files using drag and drop function only in web UI. However, you can update and move files to the selected destination folder using other products like Trimble Connect API (https://app.connect.trimble.com/tc/static/apidoc.html#files-file-actions-patch).

Trimble Connect Sync tool is also a good option to sync files and/or folder between your local drive and Trimble Connect project as well. More details here - https://community.trimble.com/docs/DOC-9877-upload-download-and-sync-files

Hi Fern,

Thank you for your reply. You could take as an example Google Drive and see how it works there. One can right click on a file and select to move (copy, rename, delete files) from a menu or select it from options on the right top bar. This is done in a similar way in Trimble Connect (similar icon with dots) but the option is missing.

another way to do it is to save-as in the new folder.

Kind of a hassle, but that was what I ended up having to do
