I have two users who cannot use status sharing on mobile or desktop. In Mobile, the status sharing tool bar is available, but it's greyed out, and inaccessible. For the desktop version, again the status sharing tool bar is available, but when I try to assign a status to an assembly, an error states: Changing status of this action is restricted. I need get this figured out ASAP, we're mobilizing on Monday, and I've gone through the training for this with all our field crew. But now this Foreman can't use this. The only thing that's different with these guys and everyone else, is that their e-mail addresses are from a different domain (ie all working users domain = mycompany.com, two users who cannot update domain = myothercompany.com)

Ok, so I did a little test today, and it appears that if you have users with different domains, for some reason they're considered separate companies and if user from company A creates status sharing, user from company B cannot update statuses. 

This makes no sense because a steel fabricator would setup the entire project, and contract out the work to a erection company for installation, how is the erection company supposed to update statuses? This is the exact scenario we're running into now. I need assistance on this ASAP.

Sorry about late reply. You are correct here. The person who creates the status in the first place, makes that status to be updated by just persons from same domain. That is how status management is designed at the moment. You should consider having the erection company to create the statuses as they are the ones who update those. You should be then able to view those statuses.
