Trimble Connect User Forum

Hi,

I would like to ask you wich model of Tablet do you have and Trimble Connect work good and smoothly on the big projects. (for example big residential buildings). I have problems with loading pdf. drawings. It takes a lot of time when we zoom in. Please can you recommend som type of tablets and specification ? Thank you

Hi Michal,

We can recommend some general guidelines. Following would be critical features to look out for - 

• 6GB+ RAM
• 128GB+ Storage
• high end CPU/GPU
• if OS is Android , would recommend to go for version 7 & above
• if its iOS, would recommend version 11 and above

If you are choosing Android , we have observed Samsung Galaxy S6 and the likes to behave good. However, this is just an observation we want to share. Any Android device with above features would be good. One word of caution would be that Xiaomi devices behavior with the app has some challenges and we are yet to address the same. 

Would request to decide based your budget and needs for the project.
