Trimble Connect User Forum

I use AutoCAD civil 3D 2018 for my surfaces. When I export using the trimble link for AutCAD I can get the surface but cannot get any of the linework. When I save the Civil DWG to a regular CAD DWG i can get the linework but it all has 0 elevations on it. When I used Civil 3D 2016 I could expot a DXF and import into TBC and directly to my SCS 900 software on my trimble tablet. When will trimble update business center to be compatible with the new 2018 DWG format.

I too have a similar problem. I get DWG files from an engineer that I need to make surfaces for and do layouts from. When I open a file in DWG True view I can see that the line work is there but once I import it into HCE 4.0 the line work (most of it) is gone. see attached example. The engineers are using Civil 3d. This is happening from multiple sources (other engineers are sending me files with data that disappears too).

Perhaps this has something to do with it ??? Seems old though as this was a 2009 article.
