I have an old Trimble Connect Free account and now it shows the following warning.

This problem affects Tekla Structures 2017 and 2017i, but it's not anymore in Tekla Structures 2018.

To solve this, do this: Open file TrimbleConnectro.exe.config at C:\Program Files\Tekla Structures\<version>\nt\bin\applications\Tekla\Model\TrimbleConnector in a text editor and replace the url in "ServiceUri" to https://app.connect.trimble.com/tc/api/2.0/

Key point being that starting last month Chrome, Edge, etc. starting requiring Https (or would give a warning when accessing a site). As a result, many websites have transferred all their content to https from http. Thus old applications may not be able to reach Help pages or, in this case, the home of the API.
