Hello,

I just want to raise 2 problems I am having on TCD, maybe you have a solution for them:

1/ In the "View" environement, whenever I click on "Model Selection" to add IFC to my view, all the Data tree expand by itself. We have a lot a folders and it takes some time and it is not user friendly to scroll down to the desired ones. It would be better to just have the main parents folders shown by clicking this button.

2/ Is there a way to directly open several models from (just like in TC on the internet browser)? The only I found is to first open 1 model and then go on "Model Selection" to tick the IFC box I want to see, Is this correct?

3/ Sometimes, the "New model Available" annotation is shown even if I have got the last version already pictured in my view. It could make people wonder if they work with the correct version of the model wich is crutial! If I click on this New Model Available button, it disappears and then appears again like 1 second after..

Below are my comments on those.

1: Thanks for reporting this, I will forward the request to our product management

2: You can do this by clicking the view on the project data page. Right click view on view strip, Add to Data tab.

     I will still report the possibility to select multiple models to be viewed.

3: I will create a ticket to our bug reporting system for this. How often you experience this issue?

3: I experience this when I follow these steps:

 - I have the very same model in 2 different folders "A" and "B"

 - In folder "A", a contractor uploads a new version of this model

 - The BIM manager downloads and checks this model. He uses it to replace the older version of this model in folder "B". We have now a new version of this model in folders "A" and "B"

- On an other computer, in TCD, I click on View on the model located in folder "A" and I download the new version.

- Then I go back to the project data tree and finally I click on View on the same model, but in folder "B"

And then the issue appears, I know for sure that the last model is displayed (by clicking on "model properties") but the "New Model Available" button is there and would not disappears even if I click on it.

So obviously this problem come from the fact that we always have twice the same models, but in different folders. We need this in our BIM workflow.

If you close TCD and reopen, is the "New Model Available" button still visible?

yeah you are right, it seems that simply closing and reopening TCD makes the problem go away! I wonder why?
