Flying object in Trimble Connect Desktop

    Greetings,

     

    We are switching from a Trimble Connect+BIMSight process to a Trimble Connect Desktop process and we have some troubles:

    - Is there a way to simply download a file from Trimble Connect Desktop to a chosen folder on windows?

    - For the same IFC model, objects behave differently between TeklaBIMSight and TCD, some of them are in the wrong position in TCD, do you know why?

    Hi Olivier,

     

    About downloading the model, you should use the Trimble Connect Web for that. You can access the project in the web using the "Data" button on the Desktop, in project's main page.

     

    About objects being dislocated, we have issue in the Trimble Connect Desktop 1.6 on that. That issue will be fixed in version 1.7, which is starting the testing cycle soon. Release can be expected to be pushed over to next year.
