Ok, so trimble access is fairly new to me. Wondering is there any way to have trimble access register a GPS measurement "faster"? I have been in talks with the local support(which is great) about this, thing is even at its lowest quality setting for a GPS measurement the time it takes seems quite long(relative to other equipment that I've used)? the confirmation of a successful measurement, the audio "beep" comes in after point has been plotted at display, support say it will take a measurement as I press the enter button, but confirmation is 1-2 sec after that, but if you are in say a enviroment that is "difficult" you might want to have a audio confirmation as you press the enter button, so that you know your measurement is within spec and can move on to next, and keep your eyes on where you place your next step or lookout for oncoming traffic, bears or whatever. so is it Possible to speed up the registration/confirmation of a GPS measrument??
second i've had a h-ll of time with getting used to the access non duplicate numbers, will not to go into specifics, but is there any way to "lock" the backsightings to a specific .job file?, ie your known points/prism positions etc are and will only be read from a single .job file?
