TILOS

When I export from TILOS to MS Project, the system generates a MS Project XML file. The file is opened by Microsoft Project but the same file would not open when using Asta Project Viewer. The same when exporting to Primavera 6. Is this a known issue?

Please clarify if you are using the MS Project (XML) exporter/importer or the XML Data (XML) exporter/importer. Thanks.

MS Project (XML).

As the name indicates, the MS Project (XML) option is not a universal exporter/importer, but one specific to the XML schema used by MS Project. There is no implication that it should work for either Primavera or Asta. Please see the release notes and help topics for additional information. Thanks.

There is a specific P6 xml export available and my release also offers ASTA in the same 

The first option is for exporting to a native MSP-xml file which can be directly opened by MSP.

The second option is for exporting to a native P6-xml file.

The third option is for exporting to different software and different xml files by using TILOS exporting profiles.
