A number of my clients are JV's (Joint Ventures). In this case software purchases are considered OPX vs. CAPX costs. Therefore subscription based pricing vs. perpetual based pricing always appeals to them. I would be interested in hearing what others have to say regarding the viability of going with subscription base pricing as it relates to your client base.
