    My company owns a landfill and we are looking for a easy method to monitor the heights as the landfill fills up. 
    We have a DWG file which shows the correct height.
    We  have bought Trimble Catalyst DA1 and Penmap Project Manager and I hope to use this setup to see the difference up to final height when I am standing on the landfill. 

    But I am struggeling import the dwg file to Penmap. I get an error message saying "Conversion of dxf/dwg went wrong."
    Any idea what I can try to get past this problem?

    Dear Shmil,

    Are you in contact with your local Trimble distributor and have you already described your workflow to them?
    It would certainly be good if you shared your DXF/DWG file with them and also tell them what coordinate system you would like to work in and what system your DXF/DWG was created in.
