We experienced some connectivity issues with Trimble Connect when trying to create Connect projects, upload or download files.
What happend
Some of you may have seen a "task cancelled notification" or an endless running upload bar stuck at 100%.
After a project creation failed, it's not possible to create a project with the same name.
The project creation was broken. There is a folder for the Penmap project in Trimble Connect, but no pdt file.
When creating a Trimble Connect project, there is a folder, but only a few of the distributed templates are available. The Connect project does not show up directly in Penmap Project Manager.
Project creation worked, but the attached data is not imported.
We fixed
Some connection issues to Trimble Connect when trying to create Connect Projects, upload files, download files.
What do you need to do?
1) Download and install the new Penmap Project Manager 10.9.0.1609 via Trimble Installation Manager
2) Delete the corrupted folders in Trimble Connect
2a) Log in to Trimble Connect
2b) If you tried to create a Trimble Connect project, delete the matching Trimble Connect Folder
2c) If you tried to create a Penmap Project, delete the ToDo (<Trimble Connect Project>|ToDo|<Project name>) and the folder with the project name (<Trimble Connect Project>|Penmap|<Project name>)
3) Create projects via Penmap Project manager
