iFeatures with Penmap for Android - Only work with SHP file?

    Hi, per downloading data that was collected with iFeatures in Penmap for Android, is the only export compatible via SHP files?

    Is this supported with CSV?

    I understand why it will not work with DXF/DWG files.

    Hi Jay,

    Penmap Android in conjunction with Penmap Project Manager allows to export the following formats:

    • Shape (Graphic and GIS attributes)
    • DXF/DWG (Graphic only)
    • CSV diverse formats also User Def. CSV (Point related data) 
      • For User Def. CSV measurement data and iFeature code number are possible
    • GeoJSON (Graphic and GIS attributes and Non-Spatial)

    Except for GeoJSON all formats could also be used as Import for existing data sets.

    The iFeature coding system allows to collect Points, Polylines, Areas each with attributes.
    If you want to export these kind of data, Shape or GeoJSON is the format I would recommend.
