SiteVision/ Catalyst Handheld Support for PenMap

    Hi there,

    I have client who would like to leverage sub-meter catalyst subscription, does not want to use a two meter pole, and would like to use their own Android device. 

    My questions are, assuming their own Android device supports PenMap and Mobile Manager, will the SiteVision/ Catalyst handheld configuration support PenMap and in landscape mode? Does this handheld configuration support the DA2 antenna (i.e. can the user power the DA2 using their own Android phone with USB cable included as opposed to the external battery?

    Dear Adam,

    Penmap does support landscape mode.
    Penmap also does support the DA2 antenn which can be powered via USB.

    Dear Adam,

    Penmap, even though it's mainly focused on portrait mode, does support SiteVision/ Catalyst handheld.
    However the laser range finder of the holder/mount is not supported in Penmap.
