    Hi,

could you explain us the function of "Camera animation time" in the settings? If we choose  e.g. 5000 is it means that Desktop works faster or slower than 1000?

We are asking about it because we have some troubles with 3D navigation while using Mac OS (it works slower than Windows OS)

    Hi Joanna,

Camera animation time is used when activating a view. It has nothing to do on normal 3D navigation.

Sluggishness of 3D navigation in Trimble Connect Desktop under Parallels are most probably due the emulation the Parallels is doing.

I will check if there is something that could be done to improve this performance.

    Best regards,

    Hi Joanna,

Please remove the check box for edge lines. That will speed things up when running Trimble Connect Desktop under Parallels.

    Best regards,

    Hi Marko,

thanks for your response. Could you tell us which of 3D Settings (e.g. in Nividia graphic card) affects the speed of TC Desktop the most?

    Hi Joanna,

I would suggest turning all anti aliasing options off. Also triple buffering. What graphics card you have?

In TC Desktop you can also disable highlighting of objects, from settings -> General. And still make sure you have unchecked all options in the settings -> Graphics. And set camera animation quality to low or medium.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Best regards,

      Marko
