Trimble Connect User Forum

According to the Trimble Connect 3D Viewer Release 1.0.10 - November 12, 2019 release notes, the Oculus Quest is now supported.

How do we get this working? The "Enter VR Mode" button appears in the top right when viewing a model in the Oculus Browser on the Quest but clicking the button does nothing. Has anyone managed to get it working?

I can't get it to work either.  I'm using Oculus Rift (not Quest) and I don't see the "Enter VR" button.

I have some other software that I use with Oculus to view my TeklaStructures models.  I would've been nice to use Trimble Connect though.

So I upgrades to Quest and I can't get it to work either :-(

I've had this reply - "A work item has been created with the development team for further resolution and I will get back to you once there with an update on it."

Type chrome://flags/ into the Oculus Quest browser

Disable WebXR Device API.  If you don't see it then search for it in the top/left field.  If you still can't find it, hit "Reset All To Default" in the top/right, close the browser and reopen the link to the flags.

1 hour later i tried again, and the VR button doesn't work anymore.

Tried to reset flags, disabled WebXR Device API again, delete history, cookies...

Log in connect.trimble.com again, but...

I can't watch my model in VR anymore.

This just stopped working today for me too.

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately the latest Oculus Quest driver update

changed the interface so much that it broke the compatibility with the

Trimble Connect 3D Viewer. We are investigating the issue and hope to

restore the support soon.

It's back up and running again.  Just reset all the chrome://flags/ back to default

Not for me . I reset chrome flags, but that doesn't change anything for me.

Stopped working (again)

Fixed again   Had to clear cache in Oculus browser

I'm not seeing the "Enter VR Mode" anymore. I've reset flags and cleared cache but still not working. Is it working for anyone else at the moment?

It's working for me.  Check the toolbar.  They moved "Enter VR" button from the top/right corner of the screen to the to the toolbar.

Thanks Peter. I've tried again and the Enter VR is back. I've no idea why it wasn't appearing earlier on.
