Is it possible to add an excel output option for Points to Surface?

Your request has been recorded for potential inclusion in a future release.

    Thanks

    Hi Anthony

There is a work-around for this.  Click the icon to open the .html version of the points to surface report, then in your browser, save the html file to a working folder.  You can then open the .html in excel by using right click -> open with -> excel.  From there, hack up the excel to fit your needs.

I think you can just highlight all the data in the grid table and CTRL C and CTRL V to copy and paste into Excel.

Just tested that with 5.32.1 since we had the same issue/question and the HTML report is just not good enough. Copy/Paste CTRL+C/CTRL+V to Excel doesn't work. Since the initial request was logged a year ago and nothing has happened I'm probably better off writing me an Excel macro grabbing the necessary data from the HTML file.

Never had problems opening the report in Google Chrome and then copying the same data to Excel.

Yes - I do exactly the same,

    Open HTML,

    Select all, Copy

    New Excel and paste ,

    Frustrating by not unworkable

I initially meant the copy and paste from the list in TBC.

I just tried it again in Chrome. I've tried that before as well, this time it actually worked. Maybe I selected too much last time. Back then it merged everything without any formatting into one single cell.

Have you tried the pavement conformance report?

That one would actually work as well, if you'd have an alignment in the project.

For a simple points against surface report we'll probably go with the above mentioned solutions.
