Added Team Members not displaying in Trimble Sync Manager

    Hi there,

    I am having a new issue where when inviting new team member to a Trimble connect project using Trimble Sync Manager. When I invite the new team member they are not displayed in the project members list as seen below:

    But when I check Trimble Connect Web I can see the team members:

    Just curious why this would be? This didn't start to happen until today and our IT department has informed us that nothing to our network or firewall has been changed.

    I am having similar issues. I have users that are unable to even access the project properties. Currently I am the only one that can create a project and add users with SYNC manager. Everyone else has to use the CONNECT on the web.

    I am having the same issue, except for a single crew member will populate for some reason.....

    Hello Devon, 

    I have been able to reproduce what you describe and have it under investigation.

    My current reccomendation is for team management functions to be carried out using Connect web browser. 

    If anyone is experiencing issues that cannot be worked around please raise a support case theough normal dealer support.

    Hello All,

    Apologies for the ongoing inconvenience.

    Whilst we work on a solution can I suggest you try the new Survey Tools extension in the Connect web browser.
    This will at least allow you to find and download field data that has been uploaded from Trimble Access.

    Connect web extensions are enabled on a project by project basis as follows.

     

    As a Project Administrator using the Connect web interface https://connect.trimble.com/:

    • Open a project, then select Settings, then Extensions.

    • Under Trimble Extensions

    • Click the Survey Tools slider switch to enable the extension

    ­

    A Survey Tools menu will appear in the left hand menu structure of the Connect web browser.

    Survey field data uploaded from Trimble Access will be visible in the table and can be selected for download.

    Using this method some of my JXL files are not importing any data. I am having to use the JOB then delete the doubled up data because these are on-going projects and we already have data from the previous JXL.

    Hello Tex et al,


    The Connected Workspace introduced in Trimble Business Center 2023.10 is intended to be the most streamlined way of getting field data into TBC.
    If you have the latest version of Trimble Business Center could you try this option.

    The underlying cause of the team management has been resolved and you should be able to use TSM as previously. 

    Where appropriate I would recommend using the Survey Tools extension over TSM as the longer term intent is to migrate features across.
