Trimble Connect Knowledge Center

Considering not all building is 90 degreew or 180 degrees to the 0,0,0, so you cannot use the standard views(Top,Front,Left,Right) Is there anyway we can set the view to be perpendicular to the section cut created? 

The photo attached as an example. This project is 45 degree and none of the standard view would work (Except top and bottom, of course!)

This is possible. Press alt and then double click  on surface and camera will rotate to face that surface with 90 degrees angle. Sorry, this does not work on section plane. But this should help you.

Hi,

On Trimble Connect for Windows you can also alt+double click the section plane scissors in 3D and the camera will rotate to be perpendicular to that.

This is not working in Trimble Connect for Web, sorry.

Would love to see this work with grids too, alt+clicking a grid line on xy plane would make you a view aligned with that grid line. Maybe even somehow alt+click a grid line and it made you a new view with pre-set view depth.
