Antenna Height Method Setting in Terraflex for Catalyst DA2

  • 1.  Antenna Height Method Setting in Terraflex for Catalyst DA2

    When the DA2 antenna is mounted on a fixed height pole utilizing the threaded insert, should "Bottom of Antenna Mount" or "Bottom of Pole Cap Long" be used in the antenna height measurement method?  I understand there is an unthreaded range pole that is made to accommodate the DA2 but I don't know if one of these options is for it while the other one is for using the 5/8th threaded insert and screwing it onto a traditional range pole.  Thanks.

    Daniel, I am 99% sure that you want bottom of antenna mount.

    Thank you Zach.  I did not recall seeing the multiple options within Terraflex until recently and the Trimble Terraflex Help Portal does not have any information about these settings.  So after this post, I learned that Trimble makes a different insert for the DA2 which is 0.026 meters longer than the standard one that comes with the packout.  So I assume the Pole Cap Long setting is for that particular accessory.
