You are on the right path, that's pretty much what you should expect. Are you using this one, V3.14.0
https://geospatial.trimble.com/trimble-rinex-converterOPUS is only interested in you now uploading the observation file, not the Nav files. The key requirement is to make sure your file includes both GPS dual frequency L1 & L2 observations or it's not going to work.
By default your RINEX file name will be the same name as the T02, and if the T02 is from this year the extension for the RINEX observation file will be .23o (and the nav files similar at .23n for GPS and .23g for GLONASS).
There are a couple of places where some of these things can be changed. In Tools-Options , for example you can select the RINEX version you want as default, and once you have the T02 open there are many options in the right hand column such as RINEX file extension where you could change the extensions to OBS, NAV, & MET or change the RINEX version or name for only that file etc.
More detailed requirements for OPUS can be found here:

Subject: Convert t02 to RINEX?
I tried using the converter on the website but all it returns is .o, .n, .r files and I am not sure what to do with those. I also would appreciate if I could have help converting the raw t02 to RINEX so I can upload to OPUS
