DA2 with tablet and phone

  • 1.  DA2 with tablet and phone

    DA2 and catalyst are working great (mobile manager and apglos survey on my phone).  Is it possible to run mobile manager on my phone and pass the corrected locations to my tablet?  Reason I ask is my tablet does not have a cellular connection.

    Hi Eric,

    It is not possible to pass corrected positions from Mobile Manager to another device. However, if your tablet is Android or iOS you could run Mobile Manager on your tablet connected to the DA2 and use your phone as a WiFi hotspot, this should enable you to receive corrections on the tablet over IP.

    Thank you.  Does TMM use internet-delivered corrections if available and fallback to satellite-delivered corrections if internet is not available? Is there any way to determine which is in use?
