Daily Sync Automation Workflows

    Hi

    I have setup a few different syncs in Trimble which run once a day. These involve syncing from Trimble, and syncing to Trimble. 

    However, a couple of problems:

    1. Syncs don't always seem to run if I'm not logged into my machine
    2. Timble Sync doesn't seem to work when installed on a server, so I need to run it from my local machine.

    Are the above issues for anyone else, and if so, is there another solution? 

    I would ideally like Trimble Sync to be running from a server where everyone on my team can access, view the syncs, run the syncs etc. Right now, the success of these syncs relies on my checking Trimble Sync on my local machine each day to ensure they have run successfully. If I'm out of office, this poses a problem.

    Hi Aaron,

    Regarding point #1 - Connect Sync will work only if the user is logged in . 
    For point #2 , could you please clarify what are you referring to as server (e.g. network drive ?) .

    Hi Darshan,

     

    By server I'm referring to Windows Server 2019. Essentially somewhere I can install the sync, and other members of my team can log on and run it.
