Hi Marco,
The use case you mentioned is true. We are assessing how we can address this challenge - possibly only @person1 mentions will trigger notifications to the person1.
Since from a strategy standpoint we are encouraging our customers to start using BCF Topics , we are going to address this in BCF topics notifications on a higher priority.

Hello Darshan,
we're having the same issue here: all the admins of the projects keep receiving every notification for each ToDos is created even if they aren't assigned to them. The result is that when you assign a Todo to an admin of the project, he likely miss the relevant notification. I believe that the admins shouldn't receive notification for Todos that are not assigned to them. Hopefully you can fix it asap. Thanks,

Users can customize email preferences : )
But it does not matter anyway. For instance, Topic notifications should refer only to Topics related to a user. When a user decides to receive notifications about new comments, or Topic assignments, he should get them when they involve himself.
Now he's getting notifications about every single Topic being commented on or created. What happens then is people remove all spam from TrimbleConnect including relevant notifications.

Hi
Try to check out your notification settings. Maybe project admin defined email preferances for all project users and that is the reason. If so, ask admin to change it in the settings and then you can choose which notification you want to receive. Do not forget to save your new settings ;)

Hi Community,
I'm struggling with an excessive number of email notifications. My mailbox is spammed with TC emails about stuff NOT RELEVANT to me e.g. when a Topic is commented but not assigned to me.
That is not how it should work.
How is this possible? How the hell Trimble wants us to use TC as a communication platform when such a elementary thing is screwed up?
