The fourth edition of The Global Positioning System and ArcGIS is being prepared.
https://www.amazon.com/Global-Positioning-System-ArcGIS/dp/1420087991
The new edition will cover both "Newer Technology" (Trimble Web Connect and TerraFlex) and, to some extent, "Older Technology" (Juno or similar handhelds and Pathfinder Office).
My question to anyone who has insight into the current state of usage of "Older Technology" in the practicing world or among educational institutions with older equipment and software: To what extent should the book explicate the former technology. Please include any knowledge you might have about European and Asian users. (The third edition was available in Chinese.)
Many thanks,
Michael Kennedy
