Hide project members in custom groups

    Hi,

    It is possible to hide custom groups or hide all project members from a project? 

    So a member would be unable to see the participants in the Team section.

    This question is related to the latest GDPR guidelines.

    Hi Darshan,

    We are creating a new Project in Trimble, named "deliveries", and all of our clients are in this project. 

    In this Project, we create specific folders to the clients, and deliver an as built of their constructions, so they have access after we finish our contract.
    With this feature, we share only this delivery folder, and give him full permission, without bring to our personal team project.

    The question about hide the project members, its because anyone we invited could be able to see the Team section, and we want to protect our clients privacy.

    This could be related to the GDPR guidelines (or LGPD in Brazil).

    Create individual projects its not an option.

    Thanks for sharing the use case. Connect doesn't support hiding members information within the same project.

    Hi.

    Due to the rules for tenders we loss the oppurtunity to hide who pariticipate in the the competition. 

    Will there be an update for this?

    Hello

    We would also like to be able to determine who can see all team members and who doesn't.

    For tendering (via eg releases) this is very usefull.

    As the original question already dates from end 2023, Trimble has maybe plans to add this feature in the near future?

    Hello,

    I would like to add my support for this request. I was told that we could use Trimble Connect to Request bids from vendors, but without the ability to hide invited members (aka competing vendors) it would make the process awkward and unprofessional. Please consider adding this ability.

    When sharing projects between many different actors it is usefull for project administatros be able to choose to hide project members that are putted in certain groups. Something similar to folders permission will be really nice,

    Currently, in trimble connect any user within the project can see the list of all participants (including email addresses), even if they belong to different custom groups.

    Be able to hide some of the project's groups and/or users from certain users or groups that belongs from different companies is needed expecially when sharing Trimble projects were a quote is requested.

    Actually we have to make and then update 5-6 identical projects one for each company. And also for many company this feature is much important due privacy policies
