how to delete a project from browser

  • 1.  how to delete a project from browser

I'm just a freelancer who created a damn folder "Componenti" that has nothing in it and I want to delete it, but the system prevents me!

I'm the only administrator and I can't log out.

I'm browsing the browser but I can't find the command to delete these useless empty folders.

I've read other people's requests for help but I can't find the solution.

How do I delete that folder I created by mistake?

What a stupid system is this Trimble that I pay.

    Hi,

Juat for a bit of clarity, what you created is actually a project, not a folder.

If you are an admin in the project you want to delete, just follow the steps on this page:

    https://docs.browser.connect.trimble.com/projects/leave-or-delete-projects

Hello but the problem is just that: where is the page?

Where is the: "Project Details page"?

I've been looking for the button for days and it's not there: watch the video I'm attaching.

Your problem is that you are opening your project straight to the 3D part of Trimble Connect, and there is another part where you have more management options. You can access the folder management part in 2 ways.

    • in your projects homepage, where your video starts from, there is a button on the top right named "3D", and it is turned on. iI you turn it off and enter the project, you are going to the data management part of Trimble Connect
    • Alternativelly, from the 3D, you have a folder icon at the top immediatelly to the right of your project name, that give you the option to go to the data management part.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. You're the only one who wrote the solution in detail and much more accurately than Trimble's instructions.

It wasn't a foregone conclusion because users like me, who use sketchups for iPads and simply want to archive some models online, don't have to go crazy to find the solution for such simple things.

Negative vote at Trimble: the world is also made by users looking for simplicity in life.

    Thank you Igor!
