We've seen similar location drift issues on a few field units too, especially when older cached map data was still hanging around. Re-syncing the project and forcing a fresh GNSS correction download fixed it in our case. Might be worth trying before digging deeper into hardware.

Jennifer,
This likely means that you are using the internal GNSS of your android device instead of the DA2. Be sure that you are connecting directly to the DA2 within PenMap. You also DO NOT want Trimble Mobile Manager connected while connected in penmap.

Subject: Incorrect locations
Hi,
We are using Penmap for Android and a Trimble DA2 receiver. The firmware on the receiver updated several days before we noticed this. in the past week or so, data points collected are incorrect, having a 4 to 7 m error in position, eg a feature was traced but points are offset. Would solar flares cause this? If not, what else might?
Thank you -
