    We are trying to integrate RTCM/CMR data from RTK Trimble R12 to Kongsberg Seapath 130. The image of pin interconnection attached below. But we are not getting any output in Seapath 130. Baud Rate selected 9600. When data checked in laptop we find unrecognizable format as attached below. Can anybody suggest how to solve this problem. Regards.     If you've configured the R12 to output RTCM or CMR corrections, then the RTCM or CMR serial data will not be in a human-readable form, so what you're seeing on the laptop is normal.  So your serial cable is probably wired correctly.

    Can you explain what you are trying to do with the R12 and how you are configuring the R12?

    Dear Mr. Norman Smart,

    Thanks a lot for your kind response. We are trying to interface RTK Correction input from R12 to Seapath 130 being used with Kongsberg Multibeam Echo Sounder through the serial port in CMR/RTCM format. But we failed to get any output data in Seapath. The block diagram, input/output format, configuration, etc are attached. If you need any further information, please ask.

    Thanks for the extra information, the "Integration Block Diagram 26 Jun 23" was particularly useful.

    A warning here, I'm not an expert on R12 and I know nothing about the Seapath system so anything I say could be wrong.

    Regarding the system design, I don't understand why you are using the R12 on the Rover side.

    • If the aim is to get accurate RTK positions for the Rover, then (depending on the type of GNSS receiver and antenna used in the Seapath) you'd probably get better accuracy by feeding the R12 RTK positions to the Seapath system using NMEA format. 
    • If you are forced to use the Seapath GNSS receiver and you need to supply CMR or RTCM to the Seapath GNSS, then it might be better to remove the R12 and use a TDL450 or similar to receive corrections from the base station and feed those to the Seapath system.

    I would also advise against sending CMR and RTCM corrections on the same channel / port - some GNSS receivers get confused if you feed two different format of corrections at the same time.

    Another point, I'm not sure if the R12 will output CMR or RTCM corrections the way you expect when it is performing as a Rover, these may only be available when the R12 is acting as a base station.  There is a mode called "moving base", but I have no experience with that.
