Latest TerraFlex for iOS

I updated to the latest version, and have found it rather buggy. The biggest problem is that adding a photo to a form often causes the app to freeze up, and worst case the app crashes. Sometimes the photo will load, but it takes at least 5-10 seconds before the app is responsive again. This never happened with the previous app version.

    Has anyone experienced this?

    System setup:

    DA2

iPhone 13 or 17 running latest iOS

    TerraFlex version 2025.32

    Mark,

Are you able to provide a rough date for when this issue will be resolved? I am assuming that it'll be a new version posted in the app store, right? I see that .32 was pushed 3 days ago.

Mark, we have had customers running iOS 18.x and 26 and the newest TerraFlex app is having Syncing issues and or Crashing of the app issues when on Cell Data and taking photos. No issues Syncing when on WiFi.

I can submit a log file if needed to support.

    Thanks,

Yes please, If you can send the logs from this device along with a description of what's going on we'll look into it
We're already aware and working on the iOS photo Issue but we can check if there's anything else going on

TerraFlex 2025.33 mostly fixed the problems we were experiencing with uploading photos.

However, over time, the problems have returned: photos sometimes taking up to a minute to process, taking a photo causes the app to crash, and random app crashes. This has been a gradual problem since the update; and reached a critical point to where we could not use the app at all.

Suspecting it may be a network problem or an app cache problem, we restarted the device (iPhone 13 running latest iOS). This solved the problem.

Mark, there may be a problem with the cache or how the app works with the device network. This was NEVER a problem with the previous app version, so I am temporarily ruling it out as a device network problem.

    Any thoughts?

    OFFICIAL

The updated Terraflex App has some features which slow down my fieldwork.

After capturing a feature the map returns to the full extent, and since my projects usually contain

up to 300 individual features to be updated this means I have to zoom to the next, every time.

This was not the case with the previous version.

Features are now clustered together until I zoom in, this feature is of little value to my

fieldwork and I'd prefer for it to behave like the previous version.

The Breadcrumbs also cluster together and the symbology is identical to the Point Features.

The clustering serves no purpose and since the symbology is now confusing I have switched it off,

but I'd prefer it to behave like the previous version.

The Photo functions is, as others have said causes the unit to freeze or delete the updated form,

reverting to the non-updated feature but showing it as being updated. I.E disappearing.

The App is now buggy as Jesse Milton has said.

When can we anticipate to have these issues resolved as promised on the 8th of December.
