No option to upload a survey file from Penmap for Android

  • 1.  No option to upload a survey file from Penmap for Android

    Hello;

    A survey was created on Penmap Project and downloaded to Penmap for Android on a Google Pixel device.  After the survey was completed, there was no option available to upload the results.  The points can be viewed on the phone.

    We are new at this, although we have successfully completed and uploaded files from other sites without difficulty.  Could someone provide some advice about whether something has been missed in the process or if it is a hiccup, and what to do?  The Penmap for Android and other subscriptions are up to date and active.

    Dear Jennifer,

    thanks for using Penmap.

    Unfortunately I do not really understand your first sentance. Do you mean you have created a project via Penmap Project manager and downloaded it to the Penmap Android device?

    Normally when the upload option is not available this has to do with a problem with the internetconnection.

    Please make sure you have an active and working internetconnection when you try to upload data to the cloud.

    You could also open the side menu like in the screenshot below and check if the correct Trimble Connect account is logged in where the red space is in the screenshot.

    Jennifer,

    what patrik suggested should work. If not, let us know, as there are a few other things that could keep this from happening. Logging out and logging in Cannot hurt either. ;)
