Trimble Connect Product Updates

The latest NWD importer included in the connect install files (v1.25) is much faster than previous versions however it is grouping too many elements within the NWD together in comparison to the previous version making Connect pretty useless in terms of granular review and being able to select individual members. 

For example, model imported using old version of connect with previous NWD importer: 
Individual elements are select-able:

Same model file, imported with the latest connect version (1.24 and 1.25.0610) using NWD importer 1.25:
Note that all the individual blue elements are no longer visible nor selectable. Everything was grouped in the import and now if I wanted to hide one of those blocks that's no longer possible, I can only hide everything that the importer decided was in the same layer. 

The Connect "Object selection tool" makes no difference. This is an issue with the importer. 

Another example with steel elements where the new importer groups all elements for no reason:

Can the importer be updated to at least allow the user to select level of detail they want the import to have? Even if it means the import process goes back to the slower process.

Sorry to hear you have run into trouble - there shouldn't have been any changes to this behaviour in 1.25.  Do you know the original file format of those particular objects within the Navisworks model?
