From our perspective I'm not aware of any performance issues as a result of the poor conditions due to the fires, and as long as you have Internet connectivity you should be able to connect to the Catalyst On Demand service. If you haven't done so already I would suggest reaching out to your Trimble partner/reseller who should be able to troubleshoot the issue and escalate to Trimble if needed.
