Using Trimble connect. I import an IFC and change the position. When close Trimble and open; IFC going back to original position 0,0,0,. It NOT remember the new position.
    Any solution for this.

I'm having the exact same problem. TC is not remembering the offsets I put in, it not only resets every IFC when reopening project and/or Trimble connect, but it also resets coordinates every few minutes when the model is open in front of me.

Did anyone respond to you @Rauno Nuut ? I use mostly the browser version and rarely move models, but I was working on the TC for Windows and had to move some models and noticed how they seem to return to original place. Have you had similar problems when moving on browser?

No, I haven't had any response or feedback. I have not used the browser version, because desktop one is very intuitive, quick and responsive. Also, I've always used desktop versions, from Bimsight to current TC, as my workflow doesn't require that much out of the software.

@Tero Laine I have always had that problem, my work around is to move the models using the app. save the view and open the view in my browser. Once I do that, I might see they are back to their original position, but then I can toggle the model off and back on and it pops into place. Its almost like the position settings isnt being read until you turn the model off, and then back on again.

Thanks Ruben. Fortunately I do not have to rely on moving models, and not using the Windows application version that much.

But also noticed that in my case only STEP files moved after 3 minutes of waiting, but DWGs in the same project not.

It still keeps happening. There is no workaround. The models lose their positioning every time I open Desktop version or a new view and other occasions:
in the views, even in a standalone view, standalone setting of positioning. Both in browser and desktop.

Update: Surpiringly the Browser keeps the position change for the required model, but the Desktop does not follow this modification.

Did you update your Trimble Connect application? My problems vent away with the new release on March 27, 1.22.0.523
