QR Code not linking to specific location

    Good Afternoon,
    I am just trying to open a QR code on the Trimble Connect app, however it is just taking me to the overall model, rather than the specific location. Do you know why it is doing this?

    Hi Amie,
    If you are using the Trimble Connect for Mobile app for launching files / views using QR code, zooming in to particular location is not yet supported.

    Hi Darshan,

    When I am using QR code generator (see picture)
    and use 'copy link' through browser it takes me to empty project site. 

    when I am scanning QR code with TC for Mobile I got message 'You either do not have access to the project/file/view or the QR code is invalid'.

    I am wondering:

    - Is QR link (generated with 'Generate QR Code' function in TC) opening empty site known error?
    - when can we expect QR code zooming particular locations for TC for Mobile?
    - Are QR codes store somewhere in TC after generated, or in order to get QR code we need to generate it eeach time?

    Hi Marcin,
    Please find responses to your queries - 
    1.  'Generate QR Code' function in TC) opening empty site isn't observed yet . If you are seeing it , could you please share the project and file details with our Support Team (connect-support@trimble.com) , so that we can investigate. 
    2. QR code zooming to particular location need is noted, but we can't comment when it will be available. 
    3. QR Codes generated aren't stored anywhere in Connect.
