Search Connect not working as expected

    Hello,

    I am building a document management system based on Trimble Connect and came across an issue with searching for documents.

    Basically what we observed today is that newly uploaded files, uploaded on 11/06/2022, last Friday, are not searchable. We cannot find them using a sub-string from their file name.

    What is strange is that we can find all older files by a sub-string.

    Is there any processing time which have to lapse before the files become visible to the Search Connect function?

    Hi Marcin,

    Yes, there's some eventual consistency in play regarding search indexing and query capabilities on Connect APIs. The delays vary based on the overall system load.
    If you're seeing longer delays - as seems to be the case - please contact connect-support@trimble.com with more details on the project and files in question, so our team can investigate.
