I work in Tekla Structures and share links to projects to clients and it works great. Fabricators and builders love it! However I don't have a great way to show the scan I take with my X7 in that Trimble Connect model viewer link.
I can upload e57 files in my own Trimble Connect project of course, and they look great, but creating a mesh IFC file and making it into a native Tekla Structures part is a really unimpressive workaround to show scan data to clients.
Any way to send a Trimble Connect link that shows the Tekla Structures model and a point cloud?
Here's the current project. A new stainless steel staircase over the otter enclosure at Monterey Bay Aquarium!
