Hi,

I've noticed since Trimble Connect System Maintenance (07/07/2024), Status Sharing extension in web version is extremely slow to show data. Before, as soon as I post data via Status Sharing API, it started to show and populate the members. Now we need to wait to next day to see it, and it's missing the point for showing the daily status of the pieces of a project.

Is there something I can do or check? What are your thoughts?

This was ran a couple of hours ago and still nothing:

Are your Trimble Connect projects using the European region?  There were some updates made to that region recently so I wonder if that could be causing the issue.

Yes, European region. Two weeks ago I wrote to Trimble's customer service because I used the access_token to get the status_token as always with Status Sharing API, and as response I started to get content type 'text/plain', instead of 'application/json'. Last week it started to work again as before, but noticed that data was really slow to populate. I could post data fast, but as I said in the post, it was available next day in the app.

I don't know what could be happening to be honest.

Are your Trimble Connect projects using the European region?  There were some updates made to that region recently so I wonder if that could be causing the issue.

Hey Luciano,

Are you still experiencing this slowness?  I spoke to the development team and there was a service update a couple of weeks ago that caused slowness as you were describing but it was rolled back.  The system is now running as before so there shouldn't be any performance issues from that perspective.  If you are still having issues we can ask the broader Trimble Connect team to see if something may have inadvertently caused this.  Let me know.

Hi Lee,

Yes, we are. Yesterday was fine, smooth, and it showed the data whitin minutes. But today again we are experiencing the slowness, at the point I ran the app for one project at 8:04hs and now being 15:55hs, still can't see the data in Trimble Connect Status Sharing extension (web).

Just in case, before writing this response I've cleared the browser's cache and restarted my laptop, but no luck.

We've made some performance improvements to help resolve this.  Can you check again and let me know if this is still an issue?

Hi Lee,

I've just tried my app and TC Status Sharing, and worked beautifully! Really smooth. It was showing the data in the timeline and colorizing the model, whilst my app was still running, so worked like a charm.
