Trimble Connect User Forum

Hello

Using Trimble Connect desktop app i can't upload large file to server, more than 5GB (.rcs file). I can add it to project, specify location folder and add the file. But when pressed "Upload to server" or "Upload all files to server" it starts and stops after a few seconds. It stops after uploading 5% of the file and shows again the up arrow. The file doesn't contain strange symbols and has only 8 letters. Have checked and the file is in the "C:\Users\User\.TrimbleConnect\.files" folder. The application version is the newest. There is no network connection issues, have checked multiple times. I'm even the admin for that project.

What could be the problem, that i can't upload this large file?

Yep, it's limited, max 5GB.

Just for clarification - in the link you provided, it is stated "Browser" max 5GB. Does this file limit applies for desk top app too?

if i understand correctly,  file size for desktop app is unlimited but files +5GB can only be saved locally, so you can't upload and share them.
