Hello, my company just purchased a TDC6 and a Catalyst handle. The handle comes with a magnet that is supposed to secure the TDC6 to the handle. But the back of the TDC6 unit is not flat, so I can't figure out how this is supposed to attach. My sales rep is responsive, but at a conference, so the responses are slow. He says he's seen it attached both landscape and portrait. I can only see how it attaches landscape and I need it to also attach portrait. If you're using this system and can post photos, I'd really appreciate it. I'm attaching a photo. You can see a space between the handle and the TDC6. Thanks.

You need an adapter from your dealer which attaches to the TDC6, the part details are:

Trimble TDC6 Device Bracket with Magnetic Plate
Part number:125521-GEO

The mount simply clips to the TDC6 and once attached the device can be attached to the handle in either orientation. I've taken a pic from a similar position to yours:
