Chris, this is odd behavior. If you look at the user guide here, with Bluetooth on for the 360 B, it should not turn off by itself for 30 minutes. If the heads up display turns off, it should not disconnect the Bluetooth from your device. I have tested this with the 360 B, 360 R, and 360 I. You may try replacing the batteries. Also, do not use cheap batteries with an instrument like this. I would use Duracell only.

Subject: Terraflex and Laser Rangefinder
Hi
I'm using a TruPulse 360B rangefinder and Terraflex and often use a combination of offset vertices and "normal" vertex points for my line features. These features can often be quite long and have found the 360B will turn off part way through capturing the feature.
Once the 360B turns off is there a way to reconnect the rangefinder while still collecting the feature?
The only way I have found to reconnect the rangefinder once it loses connection is close Terraflex, turn the rangefinder back on and then open Terraflex again.
Is there any other workflow or setting you can suggest to avoid having to restart Terraflex every time?
Thanks
Chris
