See screenshot above, this is happening with all of my pond contour lines that I've drafted as a "smooth curve" in the linestring editor that have an elevation change. The command seems to be evenly dividing the grade change into steps. It occurs only when you assign elevations as a horizontal node, if elevations are assigned as a vertical node its fine. Is this a bug, or is it proper practice to draw my smooth curve line with an undefined elevation and tag the elevations after? Seems like more work. Any input would be appreciated
