Things I can do on TCC but can not do on WM

It appears that after many years of near daily use my time with TCC is coming to an end next month.  In an effort to have a smooth transition I am going to attempt to switch over to WM entirely at this point in hopes that in a month when it is unavailable I am still able to do all the things I need to.

The purpose of this thread is to identify things I am currently unable to do in Works Manager but can do in TCC.  From there I am hoping to identify solutions either through training on things that I am unaware WM can do, identify alternative workflows or ask the dev team to add features.

The first thing I have found that I am unable to do.  I have a project that is field created and all that it contains is measurements of iron that we have lowered and need to raise later.  What I need is to be able to download the work order containing the iron measurements.  It would be even better if I could download the entire SCS900 job folder.

In TCC I can accomplish this by going into this rover on TCC explorer then simply copying the work order or entire job folder then pasting them where ever I need.  If I later need to setup this as a full fledged WM project I now have all the info to do so.

In WM the way I would assume I do this is go to devices on the left hand panel, then select the device and click the view field device folder.  When I do this I am taken to the device data tab but there is nothing inside.  Is there another way to do this or is this something that is going to be available with the 5-22 update?

Are you using SiteWorks in the field? The device would need to perform a " Worksmanager Sync" in SiteWorks before you'd be able to see anything in the Device Data screen in WM. I've been using this feature for quite a while now. Hope this helps

Yes we are using SiteWorks in the field.  I have TSC7s which we recently updated to the IOT version of windows they are all at SW version 1.80 or so.  The device which has this data did a WM sync and that's how its data which I already downloaded from TCC explorer got there.

Is the workflow that I assumed correct go to the device then press on View field device folder.  Mine is empty on nearly every device does yours have info there?  Note this is a field created project created using the new job option inside SiteWorks.

Yes that's how i do it. Should see all data that has been "synced". Is that rover a licensed device in WM?

Should look like the attached pic and you'd drill down to the SPJ file in the work order folder

Yes it's licensed.  Now I'm wondering if there is something else on my side I need to do or if I'm needing some help from the WM team.  I have data when I go to that tab on my EW machines but not on my SW rovers.  I had always just assumed that path wasn't developed yet.

Through no action on my part I am now able to download field data from my rovers.  So my first issue is now resolved.
